Job search

Remote job boards that still exist.

Lists of “remote jobs not on LinkedIn” circulate constantly, and most of them name sites that shut down years ago. We requested every link on this page on September 13, 2026. Five of the eleven boards on the list we were sent were dead, and they are named below rather than quietly dropped.

Worth your time

  • Jobspresso

Curated remote roles, hand-reviewed rather than scraped. Smaller than the aggregators and that is the point.

  • Dynamite Jobs

Remote roles at small and mid-sized companies, many of them fully distributed rather than remote-tolerant.

  • SkipTheDrive

Long-running remote board, broad rather than specialist. Plain listings, no account needed to browse.

  • Remotive

One of the larger remote boards. Worth your time directly, though their terms mean we will not carry their listings inside ChosenRole.

  • HiddenRemote

Aggregates other boards, so expect overlap with everything else here and the occasional stale posting.

  • Virtual Vocations

Subscription service. Some listings are visible free, the rest are what subscribers pay for. Decide whether that trade suits you.

Gone, and still being recommended

These appear on lists shared today. None of them works.

  • GitHub Jobs (jobs.github.com)

Shut down in 2021. The domain resolves to nothing.

  • Outsourcely (outsourcely.com)

    No longer resolves at all.

  • CloudPeeps (cloudpeeps.com)

    No working site.

  • Pangian (pangian.com)

Redirects to a notice saying the community is in a period of transition. Nothing to apply to.

  • EuropeRemotely (europeremotely.com)

The server answers and serves no page.

Why we do not search these for you

They are aggregators, and the compiled list is their product. Carrying it inside a paid tool would be republishing someone else’s work for money, which one of them calls a breach in plain words and two others signal by closing their API to automated readers. Our job hunter reads employers’ own boards instead, where the company published the opening itself and meant it to be read. The full source list, including what we refuse.

When you find something on one of these, open it and use the capture button. You reading a page in your own browser is not a crawler. The posting comes in, gets analysed against your verified facts, and your resume can be tailored to it exactly as if we had found it ourselves.

Checked September 13, 2026. A board alive today can be gone next year, which is the whole problem with an undated list. If one of these has died since, tell us at support@chosenrole.com and we will mark it.
